One of the things I loved most about being a teacher was connecting with students over their lives and personal struggles. I became a therapist so I could spend more time helping others, and I’m so glad I did. I feel so lucky to be able to do this work every day.
I work with a variety of clients struggling with depression, anxiety, major life changes, relationship issues, and trauma. If you’re dealing with the aftermath of a single trauma or a series of traumatic events, either from childhood or in your adult life, I would love to sit down with you.
I’m trained in EMDR and I am passionate about helping clients who are struggling to find relief from their trauma symptoms and limiting beliefs about themselves. I work from a client-centered perspective, which means I want to work with you, together, and tap into your personal strengths. I use a variety of modalities in therapy, including Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative therapy.
My clients often tell me they feel heard, understood, safe, respected, and empowered. I would love to be on a journey with you from where you are now, to a place where you feel a sense of peace, contentment, happiness and safety. Book a session with me and let’s get started.
